We are pleased to announce the Quaker Digital Educational Foundation will be awarding two $1,500 scholarships, four $1,000 scholarships and three $750 scholarships.

This year's scholarship recipients are:

• Victoria Gliba - $750 Scholarship.  Victoria plans to attend Kent State University at Kent and major in Psychology.
• Benjamin Pivor - $750 Scholarship.  Ben plans to attend Ohio University and major in Marketing.
• Miracle Redding - $750 Scholarship.  Miracle plans to attend Wright State University and major in Elementary Education.
• Grace Alley - $1,000 Scholarship.  Grace plans to attend the Cleveland Institute of Art and major in Animation.
• Aarial Boyer - $1,000 Scholarship.  Aarial plans to attend Wright State University and major in Psychology.
• Taylor McKain - $1,000 Scholarship.  Taylor plans to attend Kent State University at Tuscarawas.
• Elexus Warner - $1,000 Scholarship.  Elexus plans to attend Wheeling University and major in Nursing.
• Hannah Conkle - $1,500 Scholarship.  Hannah plans to attend Youngstown State University and major in creative writing.
• Sayje Hill - $1,500 Scholarship.  Sayje plans to attend Cedarville University and major in Social Work.

The QDA Foundation will be awarding three (3) $1,000 scholarships to members of the graduating Class of 2024. These scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to students who plan to attend a university, college, technical school, or vocational school.

Mrs. Jill Westbrook, QDA School Counselor, must receive all application materials by Friday, April 5, 2024.

The Quaker Digital Academy Foundation awarded scholarships at the 2022 Graduation Ceremony to Bernadette Miller and Carly Huff.  Each recipient received a one-time $2,000 scholarship. 

Bernadette, daughter of Mary and Adam Miller of East Sparta, plans to attend the University of Toledo and major in Biology with a concentration in Ecological and Organismal Biology.  Bernadette has been accepted into the Jesup Scott Honors College at the University of Toledo and has received a $3,500 Trustee’s Scholarship from the University.  Bernadette was the founder and coordinator of Evie’s Angels, a community service organization; served as a camp counselor at Camp Half-Blood; was a member of the Canton South Cross Country; and served as an assistant teacher at the Canton Ballet.  During her junior and senior years at QDA, Bernadette attended classes at Walsh University through the College Credit Plus program.

Carly Huff, daughter of Barb and Frank Huff of Dover, plans to attend The University of Akron and major in Early Childhood Education.   Prior to attending Quaker Digital Academy, Carly was a student at New Philadelphia High School.  While attending NPHS, she was a member of the cheerleading squad and the Grace Notes Ensemble.  

The Quaker Digital Academy Foundation was established in 2018 and has awarded $13,000 in scholarship monies to deserving seniors planning to further their educational and/or vocational careers.
