Position: Full-Time Family/Community Engagement Liaison
Yearly Grant-Based Position
Salary: $36,553.44 + Benefits
220-Day Contract (7 Hours per Day)

Overview
This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to foster positive relationships with families and community members, promoting the organization’s mission, and increasing engagement, participation, and student academic success.
Responsibilities
- Support students in achieving their education and career goals.
- Research and share information on in-demand and emerging careers.
- Develop and implement a recruitment plan aligned with QDA enrollment goals.
- Cultivate relationships with families, businesses, and community stakeholders.
- Organize and attend outreach events (open houses, info sessions, fairs, etc.).
- Assist prospective families with enrollment, support services, and events.
- Use social media, flyers, and presentations to promote the school.
- Help new families transition smoothly mid-year with orientation and support.
- Act as liaison to community groups to support students and families.
- Represent the school’s values in all interactions.
- Provide students with work-based learning opportunities.
- Assess student progress and give constructive feedback.
- Regularly attend Business Advisory Meetings.
- Alert administration of any concerns regarding individual students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to meetings, trainings, and events.
- Social media and marketing skills.
- Experience creating flyers and communications using electronic programs.
- Able to work in an office environment.
